What`s HERO?

What do imagine hero in your mind? I imagine first Superman, but I want to talk about real hero today.

Do you know this picture? This picture is "Vulture and Girl". Photographer is Kevin Carter. This picture appeal Sudan`s hunger.

Vulture take aim crouching girl. The New York Times sold the picture first appeared on March 26, 1993. Hundreds of people contacted the newspaper. They said " Why don`t help girl!?". So the paper reported that it was unknown whether she had managed to reach the feeding center. They jump to a conclusion Kevin Carter is evil. On 27 July 1994 Carter drove to the Braamfontein Spruit river, near the Field and Study Centre, an area where he used to play as a child, and took his own life by taping one end of a hose to his pickup truck’s exhaust pipe and running the other end to the passenger-side window. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning, aged 33. Portions of Carter's suicide note read:

"I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners ... I have gone to join Ken [recently deceased colleague Ken Oosterbroek ] if I am that lucky."  from wikipedia

Why Carter was call sb to task? We could notice Sudan`s hunger by his picture. I think him is hero. Certainly we don`t know the girl could back to the camp, but Carter`s friend attest to Carter took the picture after he drive away vulture. So he help girl and reported Sudan. His picture notice what we do.


I think hero is not only someone help, so hero notice important thing to our mind.

Japanese changed Prime minister

Recently, Japanese changed Prime Minister. New Prime Minister is Noda Yoshihiko. Democrat election citied “Loach cabinet” in the prime minister`s speech. soil cabinet is Aiga Mituo`s poem words. The inaugural conference Noda was asked naming to Cabinet. He said “I dare to say catch phrases and slogans, it said that catfish... but no soil. I think our cabinet`s real catch phrases and words come out from people. Cabinet position I want to like everyone you have named one of the nation." Many media named new cabinet. For example footpath cabinet and acorn roll cabinet,Veryconservative cabinet etc... I hope thire work.

This  URL is Noda`s speech. Please listen his speech but this speech only Japanese. I cannot find English version. He said Top priority is the convergence of the nuclear accident. I think so too. If Japan will lead to the revival of this issue is resolved.

Today, I talk about food. I ate American food. I think American food is so colorful. For example I went to stay friend`s host family`s house when I ate cone flakes in morning.

How are you everyone? I`m going to talk about my experience in America today.

I`m America only about 1 month. I think America is many kind people coming, so our university almost Japanese student, but I met many kind people when I came America. For example Saudi Arabian, Mexican, Spanish, African etc... My major is Communication, so I want to met many people and talking. Now, I learn English in Webster University. Someday I used cellphone and computer in English class, and I use facebook in ISTL class. I was surprised to use the Internet, so Japanese students don`t use cellphone and computer in class. My teacher always used Power Point sometimes You tube. Our writing class is only 6 students, but in Japan about 200 students in one class. America is different education style to Japan. I was spoken strange people. Japanese are usually ignore strange people. For example I went to cafeteria. I cannot make up my mind about menu when store clerk spoke to me. I think it is impossible in Japan, so Japanese is shy. They cannot talk stranger.  I think wonder. Why people is different? I want to know. I decide learning about international communication, so not only communication!!
